How to Change Logon Screen

Hi guys ! How are you ?

Today I am gonna show you how to change the Logon Screen and add your own desired custom picture without the help of any kind of third party software.

So guys let's starts the process:

First thing first,

Go to the below linked folder of your computer.

C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds

If you don't find this folder then create a folder named info and another one inside info folder named backgrounds.

Second Step:

Now select a picture that you want to add as your logon screen and rename it backgroundDEFAULT

N.B.: Please make sure that your selected picture is less than or equal to 256KB

Third Step (Most Important One):

[] Now open run window by pressing WIN+R and type regedit.
[] Then go to this registry address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background

[] Now find this file named: OEMBackground

If you don't find this file then right click on blank space and select New>DWORD (32-bit) Value.

[] Name the DWORD file as OEMBackground.

[] After that change the value of the OEMBackground file's from 0 to 1. ( Here 0 means logon screen is disabled and 1 means logon screen is enabled )

[] If you are afraid of messing with the registry value then you can download this zip file which contains the enable and disable code for this purpose.

Now you have make your very own Logon Screen ! :)

Thanks for reading.
